We found that if you allow the stems
to back up slightly into the crusher's
basket, less stray berries get out!

It was a lovely day to crush grapes.
We had slight drizzle while setting up
but that stopped when we began crushing
at 10:00 am.

The deluge of 4 inches of rain waited until
much later that evening.
