This 80 gallon open top SS tank is about ideal for doing barrel size batches of wine. I use 53 gallon barrels
so the yield from a full tank will provide a barrel's worth of finished wine, plus plenty of topping material. This was very
handy to have around while doing evaluation batches of wine from our historic vineyard.
It's also handy to have around the cellar for DE dosing and general pump cleaning chores.
The "punch down wand" is borrowed from the concrete industry, but works rather well at both
punching down the cap and stirring up the lees.
